Born in Dallas, TX, Dr. Pride later moved with his family to Clinton, MS, where he graduated from Clinton High School, Mississippi College, and the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. He went on to complete a general practice residency at the VA Hospital in Jackson before practicing family dentistry in Clinton for five years. In 1993, Dr. Pride completed his endodontic residency at the UAB School of Dentistry and returned to the Jackson area, where he has been in private practice ever since.
Dr. Pride and his wife, Marietta Pace Pride of Pearl, MS, have three adult sons: Clint, a physician in Columbia, SC; Chandler, a physician in Birmingham, AL; and J.C., who is currently attending medical school in Jackson, MS.

Dr Pride and his staff made this a great experience for me. All of the staff was super kind and he took the time to tell me everything was going to do before he did it while he did my root canal. He numbed me so well that I did not even need gas. In fact, I almost fell asleep during the procedure bc they had me so comfortable and pain free. I was very nervous going in for this appointment and cannot say enough about how well they treated me and how awesome his work is.
Recommended - I've seen Dr. Pride twice. What I liked is that when he wasn't sure if I needed a root canal the first time, he was honest and told me to come back if I had pain. When I came back later knowing that I needed a root canal, he was efficient and prolong the appointment, yet he did answer questions. I would go to him again, if needed.
Dr. Pride and Dr. Jones are the best!! I've had many root canals and their work was painless! I would recommend them to anyone..
